Website still under construction. Thank you for your patience.
Below is a list of services that I provide individuals, families, clinicians, leaders, and community members alike. If you are unsure if what you are looking for fits into these categories, please visit my Contact Me page to share more about what you are looking for.
I work alongside children (5 years and older), adolescents, young adults, and adults as they reflect, growth, and change.
I take a person-centered approach, which means the session can be as structured or unstructured as it needs to be in order to make progress toward your goals. For structured, we can engage in an evidenced-based therapy (like CBT or DBT). For unstructured, we can focus on processing through talk or play whatever you have for our space. This can also change during the course of treatment, based on your needs at the time.
Take a look at the "About Me" page to learn more about my experiences and training.
The aim of family therapy is to work toward what is best for the family system on the whole- not just one individual. I work with families to assess their needs, enhance communication to better hear the other, and grow and develop together.
Working with children and adolescents often (not all the times) means working with families. The family system often needs to change to support the changes and growth the young person is making. I often provide supplemental family therapy, family information sessions, or parent coaching to further enhance these changes.
There is absolutely no guidebook to being a parent. This is especially so if your child is experiencing struggles with their mental health. Oftentimes, we think we are "doing it wrong" all the time. Parent coaching is a space to reflect on your values, obtain education on your child's developmental and mental health needs, and gain a sense of intention with your interactions.
Like therapy services, clinical supervision and consultation should be easily accessible and affordable.
I provide clinical supervision for provisionally licensed or unlicensed social workers and counselors who are working toward full licensure or supplement the clinical supervision they are currently receiving at their organization. I also provide supervision to clinical interns working at another organization. Clinical supervision typically is held virtually in an individual or group format on a weekly basis.
I provide clinical consultation for fully licensed clinicians who are looking for a space to process cases, themes, and topics. I can also provide clinical consultation for an organization's group of clinicians with a range in licensure status. Clinical consultation is typically held virtually, and can be scheduled as-needed or at regular intervals (like weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly).
I provide leadership consultation for clinical supervisors, administrative leaders, and other tiers of clinical leadership. I can also provide leadership consultation for an organization's group of leaders. Leadership consultation is typically held virtually, and can be scheduled as-needed or at regular intervals (like weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly).
You can visit my Clinical Supervision & Consultatiaon website to learn more about how I hold this space: www.chicagoclinicalsupervision.com.
I am trainer in Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA). YMHFA is an evidence-based 8-hour training course that teaches adults how to identify, understand, and respond to mental health and substance use challenges in young people ages 12 to 18. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. You can learn more about what YMHFA is at mentalhealthfirstaid.org.
In the past, I have develop trainings and presentations for clinical and non-clinical team members, as well as community members alike on topics related to:

I work with organizations in developing clinical trainings to address identified needs and can develop individualized trainings. Please visit my Contact Me page to share what your organization's trainings needs are.
